Buying Online Becomes Safer

America's largest online flooring retailer, iFLOOR, is taking a huge step in helping their customers. They have announced a 1,000,000 limited warranty to help protect their customers. The policy offers up to one million dollars in the event the customers warranty claim is denied, if they purchased online. It's another way to expand and secure their online presence and reputation.

Press Release:

iFLOOR, America's largest online flooring retailer, today announced a $1,000,000 limited warranty designed to protect its customers from predatory manufacturer policies that exclude warranty coverage from online purchases.

The policy, which goes into effect immediately, offers up to one million dollars of coverage in the event that a customer's warranty claim is denied specifically because they made their purchase online. It is complimentary for every iFLOOR customer, and protects the buyer under the same terms as the original product warranty.

iFLOOR, Inc. CEO, Steve Simonson, came up with the program to combat "scare tactics" used by manufacturers of hardwood floors and laminate flooring. "Their idea is to discourage you from buying at a discount!" wrote Simonson in his blog "It's About Flooring". "This is not right! You deserve to save money! So we're going to take care of this problem once and for all."

And it would appear that federal law is on his side. Section 108 of the 1975 Magnuson-Moss Act, states that, "In general, tie-in sales provisions are not allowed. Such a provision would require a purchaser of the warranted product to buy an item or service from a particular company to use with the warranted product in order to be eligible to receive a remedy under the warranty."

Under iFLOOR's new warranty, a key provision allows for iFLOOR to "seek justice" on behalf of the customer in the event of legal action. According to Simonson, "I'm putting iFLOOR's money where my mouth is."

About iFLOOR, Inc.
Since 1998, iFLOOR.com has been the leading online and retail flooring company, with 36 local retail stores nationwide offering more than 70,000 products, including hardwood floors, laminate flooring, bamboo flooring and cork floors. iFLOOR.com is the largest online flooring retailer according to Internet Retailer Magazine, and was named by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest growing private companies in the United States for the past three years. Committed to quality customer service, superior selection and friendly expert advice, iFLOOR.com enables customers to buy flooring both online and in its retail stores at a substantial savings over traditional retailers. For more information about iFLOOR, please visit www.iFLOOR.com.

Flaunting the New Page Rank

Like several of my other blogs, this one has been updated. I was surprised at such a low number, 2, but it's better than nothing. On our old blogspot domain, this blog had a page rank of 4. Not sure how to explain the pr2!

Several of my other blogs have updated with a new PR. Sadly Blog about your Blog lost a point.

Grow Your Wealth

The Wealth Expo is a three-day conference that are targeting towards investors looking to 'grow their wealth'. There are many companies, big and small, that will be attending this event. It's sponsored by MyWallSt.net: Your Financial Social Network.

The event will be in New York on:

• Friday, 10/19: 1 p.m.-6:30 p.m. EDT w/ a cocktail hour to follow
• Saturday, 10/20: 9 a.m.-6:30 p.m. EDT w/ a cocktail hour to follow
• Sunday, 10/21: 9 a.m.-4 p.m. EDT (no cocktail hour)

There are many seminars scheduled to happen over that three day period. The one that particularly caught my eye is "Oil $ Gas Investments: Revenue and Tax Benefits". For any potential investor I don't think you can go wrong with Oil or Gas for many years to come. Especially in the U.S, because we are so dependent on it. Alternate forms of Oil, Gas, and Electricity won't really effect us dramatically for years.

There isn't anything to lose by attending, because this appears to be a free event. Free drinks and free advice, you can't beat that! However you do have to register to attend the Wealth Expo. Don't forget you get a free hat!

Approval from Chitika

Looking for more ways to monetize my blogs, I've been accepted to Chitika. I mentioned I was trying out Bidvertiser on this blog hoping to add more incoming from it rather than just from doing some sponsored posts.

With Chitika you display links to different products. You get to chose the category of what you want to display. For each click you receive $. I am going to start experimenting with it on my blogs to see how it performs. I will also be adding it to the sidebar on this blog.

Mortgage Rates

When making any big purchase you are going to want to find the best price or rates there are. To help you find that EHomeMortgages.com has set up a mortgage calculator to find mortgage rates. The process is simple and starts by state. Then of course what type of loan and personal information. After you fill out the form, you get your free quote.

If you are looking to buy a home, you'll of course need to look at home loans. They offer different rates, loans, refinancing, and more. They lay all of your options out for you.

Bidvertiser is Back

There isn't too much advertising on this blog and I like keeping it that way. However I do have one banner at the top. It used to be Auction Ads, but that wasn't making money on several of my blogs. I am turning to alternate ways to make money.

Bidvertiser is getting another trial run as the main advertising network on this blog. I will report my stats as they go, I hope this proves to be a earner for me. Any other ideas are more than welcome.

Promote your Website with BidVertiser. Get $20 in FREE clicks. I have used the free 20$ for my advertising campaigns. It's great to experiment with and see what advertising with Bidvertiser can do for you.

Car Guys Garage

Most garages I've had weren't for storing cars, they were for storing all of the junk we've accumulated over the years. If you are looking to make the garage, an actual garage, Car Guys Garage has just what you need to do that. If you are shopping for your special someone, they have great gifts for him. I don't even have a garage right now, but I'm tempted to order their free catalog.

This post was brought to you by Car Guy Garage

Win a 1,500 Gift Card

It's All Free Online has a new post up where there is an offer to win 1,500$ just for participating in a survey.

This is open to woman only, but the survey only takes a few minutes to complete and you can win a 1,500$ gift card to Old Navy for taking part in the survey.

There are also great freebie offers listed. Check it out for some great free stuff.

Smorty

Smorty is a service like several others where you can get paid to blog. Advertisers pay you to blog about their website or product. I have overlooked this service due to the lower prices per review, but I have seen several that have been more than the seemingly standard of 6$.

This is my first post for Smorty and I hope to continue to use their service as there are several posts my blogs qualify for. What I have found however is there lack of information about the website. There isn't a FAQ section, or really a terms of service. I have no idea when I will be compensated for my posts, I hope it's soon though. There is a section displaying my "Smorty Score", but no information what the score is even about.

Smorty has the potential to compete with other paid to post websites. I hope they step it up to the next level.

Master Cleanse Day 1

Weight 208

Yesterday I started my lemonade diet. The drink actually tastes pretty good, the cayenne gives it the flavor of the little mexican candies. It's pretty difficult to not eat for a day, it's a habit to eat. I snack a lot or so it seems. I did take a few bites of a rice cake, I have to admit.

Every time I feel hungry I just drink the lemonade mixture and the hunger goes away. It must be the maple syrup. I haven't felt any pain after a day, however I was extremely tired and slept until 11:30 am! I couldn't believe the clock when I woke up.

Good news is I've already lost 3 pounds.

Blogging the Master Cleanse Diet

After seeing it on LA Ink I have embarked on the task of trying to survive on the master cleanse diet.

The cleanse is a lemonade drink made with lemon or lime juice, maple syrup, cayenne pepper, and water. While you are on this diet you aren't suppose to eat any food, just drink this drink.

• 2 tablespoons FRESH squeezed lemon or lime juice (approx. 1/2 lemon)
• 2 tablespoons genuine organic maple syrup, Grade B (the darker the better)
• 1/10 teaspoon (a small pinch!) cayenne pepper, gradually increase
• 300 - 500 ccm (10-14 oz) pure water

Instead of making it by the cup, I made a large pitcher, the recipe is easier, just takes a while to squeeze that much lime!

• 60 oz water per day (or 10 oz per glass)
• 12 tablespoons Organic Grade B Maple Syrup (or 2 tbsp. per glass)
• 12 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice (or 2 tbsp. per glass)
• a little over half a teaspoon of cayenne pepper (or 1/10 tsp. per glass) or to taste

I will be blogging my progress.

Real Estate Class

Directories can be helpful for a lot of things, but I never would think of a directory for Real Estate Classes. Fastclass offers a huge map that allows you to find schools that offer real estate courses. The idea is to make it easier for students across the country to find the right school for them. When searching for schools in California, I only found one. I hope to see more of a variety listed soon, this website can be very marketable for people interested in real estate.
