PPP Direct

A new feature I have added to this blog is PPP Direct. You can have advertisers basically get you to review their site "directly" with Pay Per Post taking a small fee. There has been many bloggers giving their opinion about PPP Direct. Some question how effective it is, while others are heavily promoting it. There are several pros and cons by using PPP direct.

Pros

You take more of a cut compared to other services. ReviewMe takes 50% of your take, while others take about 35% of your cut. PPP Direct charges a small %10 fee, with 5% going to Paypal and credit card processing fees.

Safety and security of dealing through PayPerPost and their 'brand name'.

You don't have to deal directly with potential advertisers.

There is a handy negotiation feature if you think the advertisers request is unfair, such as review type, length of article etc.

Cons

Advertisers have to find you, there is no marketplace to promote your services. Your market is on your blog.

If advertisers already found you, why not deal with them directly? Why pay PPP direct fees, for advertisers you potentially found yourself.

To me there seems to be more good than bad, and I have decided to give PPP direct a shot on this blog. Review Me has a marketplace, but it has been very difficult to sell reviews on it.
