When I first went to TripWiser - social trip planner for the USA and Canada, I wasn't exactly sure what I was supposed to be doing. Then I spent 20 minutes looking through their site, pretending to plan my own trip. You can find hotels, restaurants and things to do, in 5 seconds, literally. Then you can sort those things by price, location and other categories depending on what you are looking for. I search my own hometown of San Diego, and found it interesting the places and sights they recommended.
