Buying Online Becomes Safer
The policy, which goes into effect immediately, offers up to one million dollars of coverage in the event that a customer's warranty claim is denied specifically because they made their purchase online. It is complimentary for every iFLOOR customer, and protects the buyer under the same terms as the original product warranty.
iFLOOR, Inc. CEO, Steve Simonson, came up with the program to combat "scare tactics" used by manufacturers of hardwood floors and laminate flooring. "Their idea is to discourage you from buying at a discount!" wrote Simonson in his blog "It's About Flooring". "This is not right! You deserve to save money! So we're going to take care of this problem once and for all."
And it would appear that federal law is on his side. Section 108 of the 1975 Magnuson-Moss Act, states that, "In general, tie-in sales provisions are not allowed. Such a provision would require a purchaser of the warranted product to buy an item or service from a particular company to use with the warranted product in order to be eligible to receive a remedy under the warranty."
Under iFLOOR's new warranty, a key provision allows for iFLOOR to "seek justice" on behalf of the customer in the event of legal action. According to Simonson, "I'm putting iFLOOR's money where my mouth is."
About iFLOOR, Inc.
Since 1998, iFLOOR.com has been the leading online and retail flooring company, with 36 local retail stores nationwide offering more than 70,000 products, including hardwood floors, laminate flooring, bamboo flooring and cork floors. iFLOOR.com is the largest online flooring retailer according to Internet Retailer Magazine, and was named by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest growing private companies in the United States for the past three years. Committed to quality customer service, superior selection and friendly expert advice, iFLOOR.com enables customers to buy flooring both online and in its retail stores at a substantial savings over traditional retailers. Grow Your Wealth
The event will be in New York on:
- Friday, 10/19: 1 p.m.-6:30 p.m. EDT w/ a cocktail hour to follow
- Saturday, 10/20: 9 a.m.-6:30 p.m. EDT w/ a cocktail hour to follow
- Sunday, 10/21: 9 a.m.-4 p.m. EDT (no cocktail hour)
There are many seminars scheduled to happen over that three day period. The one that particularly caught my eye is "Oil $ Gas Investments: Revenue and Tax Benefits". For any potential investor I don't think you can go wrong with Oil or Gas for many years to come. Especially in the U.S, because we are so dependent on it. Alternate forms of Oil, Gas, and Electricity won't really effect us dramatically for years.
There isn't anything to lose by attending, because this appears to be a free event. Free drinks and free advice, you can't beat that! However you do have to register to attend the Wealth Expo. Don't forget you get a free hat!

With Chitika you display links to different products. You get to chose the category of what you want to display. For each click you receive $. I am going to start experimenting with it on my blogs to see how it performs. I will also be adding it to the sidebar on this blog.

Smorty
This is my first post for Smorty and I hope to continue to use their service as there are several posts my blogs qualify for. What I have found however is there lack of information about the website. There isn't a FAQ section, or really a terms of service. I have no idea when I will be compensated for my posts, I hope it's soon though. There is a section displaying my "Smorty Score", but no information what the score is even about.
Smorty has the potential to compete with other paid to post websites. I hope they step it up to the next level.

Master Cleanse Day 1
Yesterday I started my lemonade diet. The drink actually tastes pretty good, the cayenne gives it the flavor of the little mexican candies. It's pretty difficult to not eat for a day, it's a habit to eat. I snack a lot or so it seems. I did take a few bites of a rice cake, I have to admit.
Every time I feel hungry I just drink the lemonade mixture and the hunger goes away. It must be the maple syrup. I haven't felt any pain after a day, however I was extremely tired and slept until 11:30 am! I couldn't believe the clock when I woke up.
Good news is I've already lost 3 pounds.
Rid Your Body of Built-Up Waste and Toxins
Blogging the Master Cleanse Diet
The cleanse is a lemonade drink made with lemon or lime juice, maple syrup, cayenne pepper, and water. While you are on this diet you aren't suppose to eat any food, just drink this drink.
- 2 tablespoons FRESH squeezed lemon or lime juice (approx. 1/2 lemon)
- 2 tablespoons genuine organic maple syrup, Grade B (the darker the better)
- 1/10 teaspoon (a small pinch!) cayenne pepper, gradually increase
- 300 - 500 ccm (10-14 oz) pure water
Instead of making it by the cup, I made a large pitcher, the recipe is easier, just takes a while to squeeze that much lime!
- 60 oz water per day (or 10 oz per glass)
- 12 tablespoons Organic Grade B Maple Syrup (or 2 tbsp. per glass)
- 12 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice (or 2 tbsp. per glass)
- a little over half a teaspoon of cayenne pepper (or 1/10 tsp. per glass) or to taste
I will be blogging my progress.

Get a Tutor
For those studying for exams like the SAT's and CAHSEE there is also a section for that, however they appear to be really expensive. Basic help starts at 24.99$ for your first month, you can find great value. A private tutor would cost 8-10$ per hour! At least, thats what I would have charged.
TutorVista offers 24/7 services and you can get instant online tutoring sessions whenever you need them, and as often. Whether you need homework help, have writers block for an essay, or just simply need help in a subject they are available.

Halloween the Movie
My personal favorite scary movies are the Saw series, I was never much for scary movies. The movies are twisted and well written, you never know whats going to happen next. Even a little jumpy at times.
Halloween has similarities to those movies. It becomes a fight for life. Halloween the Movie has all the makings to join the rest as a classic scary movie. With new director Rob Zombie you never know which way he may take the movie. He is taking the Michael Myers character and storyline and really making it his own. I don't think it will be like any other Halloween movie before. Michael Myers is a classic and will always be for the scary movie genre. My girlfriend is very excited to see Halloween the movie, I can't wait.
Halloween the Movie is going to be released on August 31st.
Check out the 2 minute trailer:
Rob Zombie stakes the story and make it his own. This may be the bloodiest Halloween ever. After murdering a family and not speaking for 15 years, Michael Myers breaks out of jail, or wherever he was held. Halloween night he comes back with a vengeance.

Its So Good to be Bad, Superbad
If you are still unsure of which movie I am referring to one of my favorite previews is when they check the kids fake ID, and all it says is "McLovin'". Of course the dumb cop believes it. There are several silly, yet funny scenes shown for this movie.
I'm not sure if I will be able to get to the theater to see this movie, but it is definitely on my to-do list.'
Superbad hits theaters Friday August 17th. The more I see these previews and movie clips the more I want to see it.
Make sure to go to youtube to watch 5 superbad movie clips on the homepage. They will only be there for a limited time, so make sure to check them out today.
If you are looking for ringtones or downloads from the movie go to the Superbad homepage.
Are you ready to be superbad?

To gain and retain popularity for their websites, site owners are concerned to keep their audience right from the choice of a quality website hosting service up to every single seo step. By following a proper internet search advertising plan owning a site can earn one big bucks through one way of paid placements or another way of pay per click advertisement. A point of caution is to go for a webhosting domain with high uptime to ensure adequate presence in the cyber space.

A Review of Ultimate Paintball
They sell brand name gear and have a variety of guns. Some of these guns really seem hardcore, and they could definitely do some damage in a paint ball battle. Taking a look at the Tippman A-5 and some of the other guns, are looking pretty powerful to me.
A great feature they do offer when purchasing from their website is the free UPS shipping on all paintball orders of over 200$ or more. If you are an avid paint baller I can definitely see spending that much on this website. You can get a complete paintball gun package for about that much.

Burn Notice
To combat this here comes USA Network's Burn Notice. Michael Weston is a CIA Operative who will be fired.
What will he be fired for? Possibly sleeping with the enemy? That would be juicy. Or is he a double agent, playing both sides? Perhaps he won't be fired at all, and will have to prove his innocence? You can find out why he was really fired by going to the website.
I'm not sure if I will be watching this show, however it looks like it might just be another hit. As I mentioned before CSI and those type of series have been really successful, and addictive.
Burn Notice will premier Thursday June 27th at 10 est on the USA Network. The stars of the show are Gabrielle Anwar, Bruce Campbell, and Sharon Gless.
Burn notice will premier Thursday June 27th at 10 est on the USA Network.
Another little piece of info. Are you now wondering what a Burn Notice is? I have the definition right here:
1. An official statement by one intelligence agency to other agencies, domestic or foreign, that an individual or group is unreliable.
Are you going to be watching this show?

It doesn't matter who my father was; it matters who I remember he was
I found some great father/dad quotes, like my title. That was said by Anne Sexton. The quote is especially important to me I think because I lost my father a few years ago, right when I started college. I was only 18, and we had a lot of problems over the years as I grew up.
Now I have a son of my own, so I guess fathers day is still a day I can celebrate.
"A man knows when he is growing old because he begins to look like his father." -- Gabriel Garcia Marquez
"I cannot think of any need in childhood as strong as the need for a father's protection." -- Sigmund Freud
"Blessed indeed is the man who hears many gentle voices call him father!" -- Lydia M. Child
"It is a wise father that knows his own child." -- William Shakespeare
And a little bit of fathers day history
President Calvin Coolidge, in 1924, supported the idea of a national Father's Day. Then in 1966 President Lyndon Johnson signed a presidential proclamation declaring the 3rd Sunday of June as Father's Day. President Richard Nixon signed the law which finally made it permanent in 1972.

Press Release:
The PayPerPost Revolution Accelerates, Sponsored
Blogging Marketplace Secures $7 Million Series B
Draper Fisher Jurvetson leads round and joins Board of Directors
ORLANDO, FL – (June 12, 2007) – PayPerPost, the leading marketplace for advertisers to reach bloggers and other consumer content creators, today announced it has completed a $7 million second round investment led by Draper Fisher Jurvetson, an investor in the company's Series A and one of the world’s leading high-technology venture capital firms. The financing brings the total amount of capital raised by PayPerPost to over $10 million, giving the company considerable resources for further development as the industry’s leading Consumer Generated Advertising marketplace. Additional participants in the round include existing investors Inflexion Partners and Village Ventures as well as new investor DFJ Gotham. With this investment, DFJ Managing Director Josh Stein also joins PayPerPost’s Board of Directors.
“PayPerPost created this exciting new advertising space and has established itself as the industry leader,” said Ted Murphy, chief executive officer of PayPerPost. “Although we’ve only used a portion of our first round capital, this added support from investors unlocks significant growth potential. Our content creator and advertiser ROI metrics clearly demonstrate the upside for PayPerPost’s model. We intend to use this capital to build the infrastructure, visibility and professional expertise necessary to reach and retain a greater network of advertisers and content creators than ever before.”
Since its founding in June of 2006, PayPerPost has signed more than 6,500 advertisers to its groundbreaking service, which has enabled Consumer Content Creators to be compensated for their efforts discussing specific companies, products or services via blogs, videos or other media. The content creators are required to disclose relationships with advertisers on their blog, providing transparency for the end reader. Over 125,000 Internet postings, most in the form of blogs, have already earned money for their creators through PayPerPost’s innovative marketplace. PayPerPost recently released PayPerPost Direct, a disruptive new service that allows advertisers to contract and negotiate directly with individual bloggers they identify through a safe, managed system.
“PayPerPost has laid a strong foundation for the future,” noted Tim Draper, founder and managing director of Draper Fisher Jurvetson. “It continues to attract a critical mass of participants from both the advertising and blogging communities. Analogous to Overture’s sponsored search model, we believe PayPerPost’s business model holds disruptive potential and will enable the company to thrive in the evolving paid-content arena.”
To mark the $7 million dollar funding, PayPerPost has launched a new website detailing the company’s service offering at http://www.payperpost.com. Bloggers and advertisers can easily sign up at the site and begin leveraging the self service marketplace.
In the existence of PayPerPost, they have developed quite a following and loyalty due to their blog ethics. To reward the posties Pay Per Post is running a 7 day promotion called the Lucky 7's.
For 7 days (until next tuesday) they are allocating 7,000 dollars in opportunity's to blog about payperpost. The amounts will be 10.77$ (which this post is), 70$ and 700$. I have seen at least two of the 700 dollar opps, but they were already reserved by the time I saw them.
I definitely think PPP is doing a great thing by having these opps. I would definitely like to see more opps though. Instead of a bulk 700$ offer, I would love to see 7! 100 dollar offers. There are so many posties, its really tough to even have a shot at these exclusive opps. It's nice to reward those that have been supporting payperpost for a while now, but I do think it is better to "share the wealth"

What's Your Big Digg?
They want to know what your biggest digg has been. Which article have you received the most diggs on?
I've recently been promoting my articles on digg, with mild success. I haven't reached front-page stardom yet, but I fully intend to.
The most diggs we have received on an article at Blog about your Blog is about 65. Make HotLinking Work for You currently has 68 diggs, and was very close to the front page. We did still receive a bit of traffic for our efforts.
Currently I am pushing an article I wrote about Alexa. Increasing your Alexa Rank Free! has 25 diggs at the time of this post. I am just realizing now I should have named it, How to Lower Your Alexa Ranking Free, but thats okay.
Don't forget to head on over to top 10 web tips, and let them know your biggest digg. If anything you will receive a digg out of it from me, and some link love (do follow blog).

1408 Movie Review and Trailer
The next movie coming out in the saga of Stephen King movies is going to be the 1408 Movie. It will be a short story turned into a movie. I've never heard of... until now.
After watching the trailer this may be a movie that I will see and enjoy from Stephen King's work. The movie is starring John Cusack and Samuel L. Jackson. Cusack daughter dies, and he spends years trying to contact the afterlife and ghosts. He then receives a mysterious post card about the room 1408.
Now enters Samuel L Jackson.
He is the hotel manager and explains that there have been 56 deaths in room 1408 and advises Cusack not to stay there. Of course... he stays in the room, and then the craziness starts.
If you haven't heard of the movie, here is the trailer. Enjoy! Tell me what you think.

The News Room
I know Youtube is going to try to pay members for popular videos, but The News Room is paying for all videos. Just by putting their videos on your website you can get paid. Unless it is a highly trafficked website, you won't receive much but it's something (CPM start at 1$)
Say I get 1,000 impressions on this video about Paris Hilton going to jail
I would then receive 3$ from The News Room. Also, anyone who "mashed it" and put it on their website, would make even more money. I don't see this as a get rich thing obviously, but I could definitely see earning a few extra dollars with this. By publishing several videos and news feeds on your websites that you would write about anyways, this is a nice addition to that.
The News ROom has hundreds of fully licensed stories that you can publish, so you don't have to worry about 'stealing' or recording one of your own. You don't have to worry about copy right infringement like on Youtube.
Apparently you can also win prizes from TNR (TheNewsRoom). I haven't seen to much about that on their website, but maybe it's a brand new feature. They call it a "loyalty" thing, so the prizes may be reserved for members who use their program a lot.

Sound complicated? Maybe, but it's not! Let me know if you are a member and in the running for a competition, I'd be happy to vote for you. I am currently entered to win an I Pod Nano, I hope I am selected.
I am being compensated for this post, however what I have written is my own opinion.
Win 100 Dollars with Kumiko
I recently purchased a review from her, and it was well worth the money. Not only did she send us traffic, but more importantly she sent us readers. She delivers "John Chow Quality" at a fraction of the price.

PPP Direct
Pros
You take more of a cut compared to other services. ReviewMe takes 50% of your take, while others take about 35% of your cut. PPP Direct charges a small %10 fee, with 5% going to Paypal and credit card processing fees.
Safety and security of dealing through PayPerPost and their 'brand name'.
You don't have to deal directly with potential advertisers.
There is a handy negotiation feature if you think the advertisers request is unfair, such as review type, length of article etc.
Cons
Advertisers have to find you, there is no marketplace to promote your services. Your market is on your blog.
If advertisers already found you, why not deal with them directly? Why pay PPP direct fees, for advertisers you potentially found yourself.
To me there seems to be more good than bad, and I have decided to give PPP direct a shot on this blog. Review Me has a marketplace, but it has been very difficult to sell reviews on it.

Lowest Unique Bid Wins at Bid4Prizes
Since blogging about bid4prizes 2 months ago, they have added a few things, such as a past winners page. I haven't read about anyone winning on blogs, but here they provide pictures of the winners along with prizes that they've won. They've also included testimonials of people who have won prizes in the past.
Right now they have great prizes like a Nintendo Wii and a BMW! To participate in the auction, you text message your bid. To win, you must have the unique lowest bid.
With all those great prizes, I would definitely have to go for the BMW, who wouldn't love an essentially free car? I could definitely use one, since I am currently without a car. The car is valued at about 36,000, and the current bid is only about 4.00$!

From a hawaii beach front condo to luxurious hotels they have what you are looking for. You can "find the perfect place" with their search feature. That includes your arrival and departure, your desired cost, and which island you will be staying at.

WithCharacterKids.com Review
They also feature popular brands and television characters like Dora the Explorer, Thomas the Train, Spongebob, and Blues Clues.
I'm personally in the market for a diaper bag. The one we currently have, is over a year old now, since we got it at the baby shower. So, to the diaper bag section is the first place I went when surfing on WithCharacterKids.com
The choices are great, whether you are looking for style or convenience. For the bags I looked at, you could be paying anywhere form 10-30$ which is decent, it's what a purse would cost.
The bag that I liked best is the Eddie Bauer Backpack Diaper Bag. Not just for the brand name (I like Eddie Bauer) the bag is looks convenient, I love that its a backpack. It's not exactly manly carrying around a diaper bag!
This website is great for gifts as well as inexpensive must-have items. I hope you decide to check it out.

Comment Friday at BAYB
It's Comment Friday again at Blog about your Blog. BAYB has seen a huge increase of comments and bloggers visiting and participating in their special Fridays. Last week they managed a whopping 40 comments! This week the target is 50. Looking to get some more visitors and a possible link for your blog? Go leave a comment!
With the new movie coming out, the post SpiderMan 3: Images of Venom is getting some attention.
Farrey's: The Lighting Solution since 1919
Farrey's is like an giant online Home Depot. Instead of getting lost in a giant department store, you can search for whatever it is you want. I'm not going to pretend I know "brand names" of their items, but they do brag about their giant selection. What I did do, is look at the most unique thing that I saw. I came across Sea Gull Lighting. From there you can see dozens of pictures of different chandeliers. I'm still not sure why it's called Sea Gull, but it looks nice.
Adam Dempsey
I found an interesting website that is showcasing a blogger/entrepreneur's website projects and endeavors. Adam Dempsey's Current Websites and Projects can be found on his website. As you can see not many of his projects run together, however he has brought them all together on this page.
Soon I will be doing something along those lines, with other blogs and websites (hopefully a directory). To have one page with all that info is a great idea.
Traveling Abroad
Christchurch Accommodation was the first that I found. Christchurch is in New Zealand.
I also found Glasgow Accommodation. Glasgow is in the UK. I would assume looking online for hotels would be cheaper, or even best for last minute accommodations.
